Hey,
My name is Cassandra, AKA Miss Cassie and Mum.

I’m a Sydney local from Balmain with Italian, Irish, and English heritage. I’m a proud mother to a teenage daughter and we share our home with our beautiful cat, Tinkerbelle.


A little about my life thus far…

After nearly 15 years as an Early Childhood Educator, I made the decision to pursue my true passion.
Throughout my career as an educator, it became clear that my two greatest loves—children and food—would shape my life’s purpose. I’ve had the joy of introducing hundreds of children to cooking and food tasting, while also supporting parents through this sometimes tricky phase. There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing a child who was once a picky eater become excited to not only try new foods but enjoy them.

As a parent, I faced my own challenges when I discovered my daughter had a dairy intolerance at 3 weeks old. This experience taught me how to help a child with a limited palate who is wary of new foods. I was fortunate to apply my knowledge without feeling stress or frustration. My goal when working with families is to bring understanding and peace of mind to parents, which in turn creates happier mealtimes.
